Bangladesh pace bowler Taskin Ahmed is set to miss the remainder of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League T20 due to a flare-up of a back injury. According to Cricbuzz, an MRI scan revealed his pain is because of the recurrence of an injury and that the management is not willing to take any risk whatsoever with him considering that he will be required during the home series against Afghanistan. Taskin has played four matches so far in the tournament and claimed five wickets at an economy of 8.92.
