Sri Lankan fast bowler Suranga Lakmal, who recently announced retirement from international cricket after the India tour, has now signed a two-year contract with Derbyshire. The 34-year-old will reunite with his former national coach Mickey Arthur, who was appointed as the director of the county last year. Arthur heaped praise on the skillset of the wily pacer and was delighted to have him in the team, adding that the team would benefit from his presence.
