Imran Tahir and Mohammad Rizwan shone on the opening day of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League as defending champions Multan Sultans got off to a winning start. On a slow surface, Karachi Kings were confined to only 124 and Multan hunted it down with ten balls to spare. Shan Masood got off to a flyer in the chase as he moved to 26 in quick time and even though he was dismissed in the powerplay, Rizwan ensured Multan made light work of the task.
