(Photo) Roach, Bonner and King earn recalls for India ODIs

Kemar Roach, Nkrumah Bonner and Brandon King have earned recalls to West Indies’ ODI squad for the three-match series against India, starting on February 6. Pacer Roach, who has played 92 ODIs and captured 124 wickets, last represented West Indies in the 50-over format against India in Port of Spain in August 2019. Meanwhile, the top order batter, Nkrumah Bonner, last featured in an ODI for West Indies in Bangladesh in January 2021. He has played three ODIs for West Indies, and has also participated in 67 List A matches, compiling 1956 runs. Incidentally, in the last one year, Bonner has turned out to be one of the key cogs of West Indies’ Test batting unit, averaging over 40.
