All-rounder Sune Luus has been entrusted with the responsibility to lead an 18-member South Africa squad that will take on West Indies in a five-match ODI series starting January 28. Luus will lead a side that is missing senior players – Dane Van Niekerk (ankle injury) as well as Lizelle Lee (Covid). Chloe Tryon has been assigned Luus’ deputy for the series. The two sides last met in a five-match series in the Caribbean, a rubber South Africa clinched by a dominant 4-1 margin.
Sune Luus will captain the #MomentumProteas in the upcoming four-match series against Windies Cricket from 28 January to 6 February 🇿🇦💚
