The ECB are launching an investigation after a video showing police asking several England and Australian players to retire to bed after a post-Ashes drinking session at the team hotel in Hobart. The video, which appears to have been captured by Graham Thorpe, England’s assistant coach, featured Joe Root and James Anderson along with Travis Head, Nathan Lyon and Alex Carey, all of whom were being spoken to by police officers as they sat around a table of drinks at dawn.
