They chose to bat, put a solid total on the board, functioned decently with the ball and stunned the hosts. After the fairly good showing in the first ODI, many thought Sri Lanka would hunt the target of 303 down, but they fell short by 22 runs despite Dasun Shanaka’s sublime ton.
