KL Rahul is set to lead the visitors in the three-match one-day series against South Africa. The responsibility fell on his shoulders in the absence of Rohit Sharma, who sustained a hamstring injury which ruled him out of the both Test and ODI series against the Proteas. The first match of the series is scheduled to be played on January 19 at Boland Park in Paarl, and Rahul has confirmed that he will be returning to the top of the order to accompany Shikhar Dhawan. Itβs worth mentioning that Rahul has had a brilliant run in the middle-order of late.
