(Video) Zac Crawley rustles up fifty after England’s best opening stand of the series

England did manage to put their best opening partnership in the series as Zac Craley and Haseeb Hameed added 46, but the latter was undone by Scott Boland as an edge carried through to the wicketkeeper. Crawley had his share of luck along the way as he compiled a stroke-filled fifty off just 69 balls. Dawid Malan was then knocked over by Nathan Lyon as England found themselves at 74/2 early on the final day in Sydney. The onus is squarely on the well-set Crawley and skipper Joe Root to resuscitate England and give them a genuine shot at chasing the 388-run target.
