England have done well in the morning session of the second day to keep Australia in check. The bowling has been disciplined and freebies came far and few in between, but the visitors would be disappointed for not having made the breakthrough. Steve Smith and Usman Khawaja have battled it out, helping themselves to a couple of boundaries each. After a minor rain delay, Smith drove handsomely down the ground on resumption for four to take Australia past 150. Sadly, the drizzle seems to have returned to halt action again.
