New Zealand skipper Tom Latham was disappointed with his team’s batting performance in the first innings, which set the tone for the remainder of the game that Bangladesh historically went on to win. New Zealand were 66/1 at Lunch on the opening day and had even forged a decent second-wicket stand between Will Young and Devon Conway, but struggled to stitch any more partnerships moving ahead.
