He picked the injury in the field ahead of the fourth day at Mount Manganui. Mahmudul produced his maiden Test half-century against New Zealand in the first innings as Bangladesh posted 458 to take a voluminous 130-run lead. New Zealand wobbled late in the day and were reduced to 147 for 5, kindling prospects of an epoch-making win for the tourists.
