Shardul ‘golden arm’ Thakur has tilted the scales in India’s favour as he struck off what was the last ball before Lunch to dismiss van der Dussen after having removed the defiant Dean Elgar and well-set Keegan Petersen in his prolific spell. Looking to defend off the frontfoot, van der Dussen got an inside edge through to the keeper. Although replays revealed that Rishabh Pant had not taken the catch cleanly, the batter walked off, leaving South Africa in a spot of bother at 102/4 at the interval.
