Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, lavished praise on Test captain Virat Kohli for not letting the outside noise affect his preparation and going about his business with great enthusiasm. Kohli has gone 25 Test innings without a ton but in the words of the erudite Dravid, a string of good scores are just around the corner for the talismanic skipper. He observed that a barren run was natural in any substantially long career and it was unfortunate that the team’s senior-most batters were concurrently going through the phase. Dravid hopes the underachieving trio will soon be able to convert those promising starts.
