Ben McDermott continued to enjoy his promotion up the order with a blistering century as Hobart Hurricanes beat Adelaide Strikers at Blundstone Arena. McDermott thwarted Strikers’ star spin tandem of Rashid Khan and Fawad Ahmed to lead Hurricanes’ 176-run chase with nine balls to spare. He smashed 110 not-out from just 60 balls as the Hurricanes notched consecutive wins, while Strikers are falling off the rails. It was the third win for Hurricanes in BBL 11.
