Darcy Short hit the ball with such brute force and impeccable timing that it travelled all across the stadium and onto the road in BBL 11. He got into position early for a short-arm jab and butchered the bouncer out of the park. Short scored 37 off 32 balls in a steep chase as Hobart Hurricanes pursue a target of 176 runs. His knock included three boundaries and a monster of a flat hit right from the screws. The franchise still needs 58 runs in 37 balls and have their hopes pinned on Ben McDermott, who is cruising on 61*.
*SOUND ON*: D’Arcy Short smokes one onto the road!
