The last ball wicket before Lunch has tilted the balance back in favour of Australia as Dawid Malan became the third man to depart in the morning session. Pat Cummins won the toss, had little hesitation in putting England in and then went about his work with flawless artistry. He struck in his first over removing Haseeb Hameed, then got rid of Zak Crawley as the visitors lost both openers cheaply once again. It was left to Joe Root and Malan to do the repair job and they did so with gusto, at least until that ill-fated delivery that saw the tourists slide to 61/3.
This one carries!
