Former England captain Nasser Hussain believes that the only way for England to come back into the Ashes is by scoring big runs. Apart from Joe Root and Dawid Malan, there have been no contributions of note from the batting lineup. The pundit feels if England are to turn the 0-2 deficit around, the batters need to step up. The English openers have looked vulnerable, leaving Root exposed with the new ball still hooping around corners. The two teams go again from December 26th in the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.
