Doubts surrounding Bangladesh’s two-match Test series against New Zealand cleared after all the members of the touring contingent returned negative tests. After Rangana Herath, Bangladesh’s spin bowling consultant, was detected Covid-19 positive, the touring party was asked not to have any practice sessions until December 21. The squad members were also sent back into quarantine. Besides Herath, eight other members of the Test fold, who were in close contact of a Covid-19 positive person flying with them from Malaysia to New Zealand, tested negative, as per Cricbuzz.
