Ollie Robinson’s off-spinning services were called upon by England in the Ashes Test in Adelaide as the visitors clearly missed picking a spinner with the ball turning a fair bit. The quick sent down some gentle off-breaks, even getting a couple to spin away nicely as he wheeled away in the absence of Jack Leach and Joe Root, who didn’t take the field on the fourth day after being hit on the abdomen while receiving throwdowns in the warm-up session. Robinson has got 26 overs of spin under his belt during County games, and hence, he looked fairly at ease in his new avatar.
