The Lucknow franchise of the Indian Premier League has roped in Andy Flower as the coach, Cricbuzz confirmed. The announcement was made after seeking permission from BCCI, which had restricted the new team from making any declarations yet. The announcement was largely on the expected lines as the franchise is set to bring in KL Rahul as one of its off-auction signings. The move will unite Rahul and Flower as both were part of the Punjab Kings franchise till IPL 2021.
As per ESPNcricinfo, former Zimbabwe captain Andy Flower will take over as the head coach of the Lucknow IPL franchise.#AndyFlower #IPL2022 pic.twitter.com/N39jlCqO34
