India Test captain Virat Kohli has said that his team’s groundbreaking performances in Australia and England could be attributed to their hard-fought victory in Johannesburg in 2018, when his side beat South Africa, who were 2-0 up, in hostile conditions at the Wanderers. The Test match, which saw several players cop body blows, even had to be stopped at one point in time so that the umpires could assess if the pitch was dangerous.
