While opinions were divided after the bizarre event of Australian opener David Warner smashing Pakistan spinner Mohammad Hafeez’s double-drop ball for a huge six during the T20 World Cup semifinal, Aussie coach Justin Langer showered praise on his batter saying, “It’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen in cricket”. The southpaw didn’t think twice before dispatching the ball over the fence as it was called a no-ball and a free-hit was awarded. Australia will face New Zealand in the grand finale, scheduled to be played on Sunday, November 14.
“One of the best things I’ve seen on the cricket to be completely honest.”
