Brisbane Heat strengthened their clasp on a finals berth and kept themselves in contention for a top finish, while at the same time pushed Sydney Sixers closer to the exit door as they held their nerve in a low-scoring contest. Brisbane Heat slid slid from 1 for 34 to 4 for 37 in the WBBL 07 clash against Sydney Sixers when Maitlan Brown produced a peach of a delivery to remove Anneke Bosch. The ball pitched on off stump but jagged away a fraction to beat the edge and clip the off-stump. It was a fast bowler’s dream. However, Heat defended extremely well to deny Sixers a facile win.
