India have won the toss and elected to bowl first in their must-win game against Scotland, who have proved that they are no slouch by giving New Zealand a hard fight. If Scotland score 160, India need to chase it down in 11.3 overs to get their NRR to +1.000. If they chase it down in 7.4 overs, they can get their NRR past that of Afghanistan. Birthday boy Virat Kohli won the toss, for a change, as India included Varun Chakravarthy at the expense of Shardul Thakur into the playing eleven.
