Opener Jos Buttler smashed an enterprising 101* to steer England to 163 for four in their Group 1 Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup against Sri Lanka. Buttler extended his rich vein of form as he hit six fours and an equal number of sixes during his 67-ball century that rescued England after the loss of three early wickets. Skipper Eoin Morgan found form, contributing 40 off 36 balls after England were invited to bat in Sharjah. For Sri Lanka, Wanindu Hasaranga was the pick of the bowlers with excellent figures of 3/21.
