Leggie Adam Zampa was at his parsimonious best in the T20 World Cup Super 12 clash against Sri Lanka. He conceded only a dozen runs in his full quota while picking up the crucial wickets of Charith Asalanka and Avishka Fernando. Zampa’s tight spell helped Australia to keep the scoring rate in check and ultimately restrict them to a manageable total of 154/6. When Kusal Perera and Asalanka were going at full pelt, a target in excess of 170 looked well on the cards.
How good was Zampa!
