Bangladesh were able to put Sri Lanka under some considerable pressure during their setting of a total in their Super 12 T20 World Cup contest on Sunday. They put on 171/4, thanks to 62 off 52 from Mohammad Naim at the top of the order and a destructive 57 not out off 37 from the evergreen Mushfiqur Rahim. After a couple of sub-par performances in the previous stage of the competition, the Tigers will be delighted to have shown the quality they undoubtedly have first up against Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh set a target of 172. We need some strong opening and heavy hitting now!
