England have made an early breakthrough in their T20 World Cup Super 12 opener against the West Indies. Chris Woakes was the first to strike with the new ball, prizing the scalp of Evin Lewis for 6 inside the second over, reducing the Windies to 8/1. Moeen Ali then got in on the act having taken the catch for Lewis’s wicket, dismissing Lendl Simmons for 3 as the Windies found themselves in a whole load of trouble at 9/2 after 2.2 overs. It was up to Chris Gayle and Shimron Hetmyer to try and steady the ship.
