Opener Pathum Nissanka and Wanindu Hasaranga have managed to stitch a fifty partnership to resurrect Sri Lanka after Ireland made early inroads in their T20 World Cup contest. Hasaranga, in particular, has scored at a brisk pace, unleashing six fours and a six to help put the islanders back on track. Kusal Perera, Dinesh Chandimal and Avishka Fernando failed to contribute much and Joshua Little was largely responsible for the dents that gave Ireland the wood over Sri Lanka.
