Bangladesh suffered an upset at the hands of Scotland in their T20 World Cup campaign opener, but The Tigers have bounced back strongly with a win against Oman. Having posted a below-par 153 after electing to bat first, Bangladesh picked wickets at regular intervals to derail the chasing effort from Oman and gather a morale-boosting win. Shakib Al Hasan was adjudged the player of the match for all-round contribution as he scored 43 before picking up a three wicket-haul.
