Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl first in the T20 World Cup warm-up clash against England. Despite being a powerhouse in the slam-bang format, India haven’t been able to win the tournament since MS Dhoni’s men reigned supreme in the inaugural edition in 2007, and lost their last T20 bilateral against a lackluster Sri Lanka in July. Kohli confirmed at the toss that the in-form KL Rahul will open the innings alongside Rohit Sharma while he’ll retire to his customary number three position.
