Mohammad Abbas has cemented his place in Pakistan’s Test fold as a gold-standard pacer who can make the cherry dance to his tunes. The journey started from a village in Sialkot and then to be sharing the dressing room with the finest in Pakistan and outshining them was a dream come true for Abbas, who hails from a modest background. In October 2018, in the series against Australia, Abbas took his 50th wicket in his tenth Test match. With that strangle down the leg, he became the joint-quickest fast bowler, in terms of matches played, to take 50 wickets for Pakistan in Tests.
