The County Championship season came to a close last month, and was the subject of great debate over its nature and its scheduling. With the introduction of the Hundred into the cricketing calendar, there was outcry over the domestic red-ball fixture list being undermined, as well as the Royal London One Day Cup. However, what is never normally in doubt over the Championship is the quality of some of the cricket on show.
