Umran Malik officially burst onto the scene on Wednesday, taking his first ever wicket in the Indian Premier League for the Sunrisers Hyderabad against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The wicket itself was impressive, but arguably the most striking part of the performance was the electric pace at which Malik was bowling, touching speeds of over 150 kilometres per hour. The scalp was the RCB wicketkeeper Srikar Bharat, caught behind by Wriddhiman Saha. It left Bangalore 38/3 off 6.5 overs.
