Babar Azam has won of the most aesthetically pleasing cover drives in world cricket, and his trademark shot off a back of a length was on full display in Pakistan’s National T20 Trophy on Sunday. Azam moved past 7000 T20 runs in his knock for Central Punjab against Southern Punjab, becoming the quickest of all time to the milestone in the shortest form of the game. His 187 innings is five less than the next quickest, Chris Gayle, and 25 quicker than Virat Kohli.
