Muhammad Nawaz won the man of the match award as Northern beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in their Sunday afternoon clash in Pakistan’s National T20 Trophy. Nawaz hit 51 off 34 balls, an innings adorned by three 6s and one 4. It propelled Northern towards the above-par total of 181/7, assisted by a terrific 46 off 27 deliveries from captain Shadab Khan. They eventually won the game by 14 runs as Pakhtunkhwa stumbled to 167/8 from their 20 overs. Nawaz also took 2-26 off three overs to assist in the bowling department as well as the batting.
