Italy were once again victorious over England, this time in cricket, as they secured an unlikely victory in the European Cricket Championship on Wednesday. The game itself was a T10 fixture, with England struggling to 87/6 off their allocation, the captain Dan Lincoln top scoring on 29 off 17 balls before being run out. Tom Bevan then salvaged a total with his 22 off 10 deliveries, but the score proved to be well under par as Italy chased it down with six wickets in hand. They had an excellent 43 not out off 20 balls from Baljit Singh to thank.
