Matthew Mott, coach of the Australian Women’s cricket team, is backing superstar Elysse Perry to hit her stride sooner than later. Perry went wicketless through the three ODIs against India with figures of 0 for 103 from 14 overs. While she was able to find some swing, she couldn’t quite control the ball adeptly and was largely responsible for the plethora of wides Australia sent down during the rubber. As many as 67 runs were conceded off wides by the hosts.
