Ravindra Jadeja lit up the closing stages of the IPL clash between the Chennai Super Kings and the Kolkata Knight Riders, smashing 22 off just 8 deliveries to set up an incredibly tight, last-ball victory for CSK. It seemed after KKR had put on 171/6 that the game was firmly in their grasp, but an excellent start for CSK courtesy of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali put them back into contention. Jadeja rescued a middle order wobble despite falling on the fifth ball of the twentieth over, handing the honours over to Deepak Chahar to score the winning run off the last.
