(Video) Shardul Thakur steps up for CSK with a breakthrough typical of the man

Shardul Thakur proved himself yet again as the go-to-man of any team he plays for, taking the wicket of Venkatesh Iyer after the Kolkata Knight Riders got off to a good start in their IPL clash with the Chennai Super Kings. It left KKR 50/1 after 5.1 overs, with Iyer having hit 18 off 15 deliveries after his opening partner Shubman Gill was run out by Ambati Rayudu for 9. Rahul Tripathi looked the key wicket for CSK, however, as he reached 44 not out off 30 balls at the start of the twelfth over.
