Wild celebrations erupted at Edgbaston as Warwickshire laid hands on their first County Championship title since 2012 after bundling Somerset out on the final day. Following Lancashire’s win against Hampshire on Thursday, Warwickshire had to beat Somerset to clinch the silverware. Having set Somerset 273 to win in 79 overs, Chris Woakes and Craig Miles shared three spoils each to dismiss the visitors for 154, sealing a 118-run victory and with it a piece of elusive glory.
