The ball was pinging off beautifully off Virat Kohli’s blade in the ongoing tie against Chennai Super Kings, and funnily enough, that brought about his doom. Deploying those pliant wrists to the task, Kohli whipped Dwayne Bravo’s half-volley with a touch of authority but ended up hitting it straight down finding the fielder on the mid-wicket fence to perfection. It was a clean strike but Kohli couldn’t get the desired elevation as RCB lost their first wicket for 111, known as Nelson in the cricketing lexicon.
