(Video) Smriti Mandhana shows class before falling in familiar fashion

Smriti Mandhana played some glorious shots on her way to an excellent 86 off 94 deliveries for India in their second One Day International against Australia at the Great Barrier Reef Arena. There was a degree of pressure on Mandhana’s talented shoulders due to the absence of Harmanpreet Kaur for a thumb injury. The 25-year-old star had failed in the first game, but put any fears over her form to rest as her score at the top of the order propelled the visitors towards a total in excess of 250, a much-needed milestone to surpass after Australia chased down their 225 so easily in the first fixture.
