Leg-spinner Mason Crane’s five-wicket haul kept Hampshire in the hunt during their County Championship tussle against Lancashire at Liverpool. The match went right down to the wire and Lancashire won it by barest of margins as they crossed the finish line of 196 with a solo wicket in hand. Jack Blatherwick was one of Crane’s victims, his ill-judged prod resulting in a nick to second slip. Dane Vilas deserves much of the credit for taking Lancashire home with his rock-solid 47 off 87 balls.
Another one for @masoncrane32 👀
Lancs now 177-6, needing 19 more. Hampshire need 4 wickets.
