Pavel Florin shot to fame a few years ago after footage was released of the Romanian’s rather uncoached cricketing techniques playing for Cluj Cricket Club. Florin, despite his incredibly slow bowling being punished on a fairly regular basis, displayed an infectious passion for the game, and his enthusiasm for showing up every week is everything cricket is meant to be about. That love seems to still be burning strong as he hit his first ever boundary in the European Cricket League on Wednesday, celebrating as if he had just won the World Cup final.
