Lancashire’s Alex Davies lost his off-stump to an absolute peach of an away-seamer by quick Mohammad Abbas. The ball came straight out of the coaching manual, pitching at middle to jag just a fraction and clip the top of off. Davies couldn’t do much other than being squared up completely and wear a look of utter bewilderment. Lancashire are in a spot of bother at 25/3 in response to the 143 posted by Hampshire in the first innings at Liverpool.
