Royal Challengers Bangalore lost two wickets in the opening powerplay against the Kolkata Knight Riders as the second game of the IPL’s resumption began in thrilling fashion. The first to fall was the huge wicket of Virat Kohli, who was dismissed leg before wicket by Prasidh Krishna with a slightly shorter, straighter delivery. Lockie Ferguson also got in on the act, utilising his extra pace to see the back of Devdutt Padikkal. The opener attempted to uppercut a shorter delivery over the wicketkeeper, but found himself cramped for room and could only nick off to Dinesh Karthik.
