Scotland enjoyed a triumphant return to home cricketing action on Wednesday as they beat Zimbabwe by seven runs in the first of the three-match T20 International series. Playing at the Grange in Edinburgh, their first game in Scotland since August 2019, the home side mustered 141-6 off their 20 overs thanks to a magnificent 82 not out from Richie Berrington, who rescued his side from the ominous position of 30-4 in the sixth over. Zimbabawe managed 134-9 off their subsequent allocation as Safyaan Sharif took 4-24.
