Ireland won the final One-Day International against Zimbabwe by seven wickets to level the three-game series and score 10 vital points for the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. The seven-wicket victory was facilitated by the ever-reliable Paul Stirling and captain Andrew Balbirnie, who scored 77 runs altogether to fire the hosts to victory. Ireland’s focus will now turn to the T20 World Cup, with no ODI action scheduled until an away series against West Indies in January 2022.
